´Big Wave´ has slightly longer, bluer needles than the standard Weeping Norway Spruce (Picea abies ´Pendula´). It also has a stronger leader, which we train "over", so that the plant will mound and spread horizontally, rather than vertically. Once it has reached its desired width, the leader may be trimmed to curtail growth in that direction. This blue mounding beauty will provide a source of interesting form, color and texture, whether in the smaller or larger garden areas, for many years to come.
